About Global Iranian

Global Iranian is an independent, grassroots media and civil society initiative dedicated to amplifying Iranian voices, experiences, and perspectives worldwide.

Established to create space for meaningful dialogue, independent reporting and civic engagement, Global Iranian brings together perspectives on Iran's political, cultural and social future.

Our Position

Global Iranian supports the Lion and Sun Revolution and Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi's role in Iran's political transition.

These commitments do not prevent us from engaging with different perspectives or asking difficult questions, including of those whose views we share.

We believe Iran's political future must ultimately be determined by its people.

Our Approach

Our editorial priorities are guided by public interest, the significance of current developments and the experiences of Iranian communities worldwide.

We seek to distinguish factual reporting from personal testimony, analysis, opinion and organisational advocacy, while encouraging informed discussion and respectful scrutiny.

Independence and Funding

Global Iranian is a founder-led, unincorporated grassroots initiative operating from the United Kingdom. It is not a registered charity.

The initiative is currently self-funded and has not accepted donations, sponsorship or external funding to date.

Should these arrangements change, we will publish an updated funding disclosure.
